UFC 267 has been officially announced as taking place in Abu Dhabi on October 30 in a card which will feature Jan Blachowicz defending his light heavyweight title against Brazilian veteran Glover Teixeira and Aljamain Sterling rematching Petr Yan for the the UFC’s bantamweight strap.
The UFC announced that the card will feature something called the ‘Abu Dhabi Showdown Week’ which will a host of fan events taking place in association with the fight card.

In addition to the Blachowicz and Sterling title fights, a lightweight showdown between Rafael Dos Anjos and Islam Makhachev is also set to feature on the fight card, as well as a heavyweight contest between Marcin Tybura and Alexander Volkov.
Czech light heavyweight Jiri Prochazka is also understood to have been approached to serve as back-up to the Blachowicz-Teixeira title fight.
The card, set to take place at the Etihad Arena, will be the first to take place in Abu Dhabi since UFC 257 in January and it will be the first numbered UFC event to not be a pay-per-view event in over a decade.
